Prof. Hsien-Da Huang is a presidential chair professor and the executive deputy director of Warshel Institute of Computational Biology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. He received Ph.D. at Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Central University, Taiwan, in 2003. He was a tenured professor, distinguished professor, chair professor and vice dean at the College of Biological Science and Technology, National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. Chairman at Department of Biological Science and Technology, NCTU and President of Taiwan Bioinformatics and Systems Biology Society.

黄宪达教授于1997年获台湾中央大学资讯工程学系学士学位、2003年获台湾中央大学博士学位，曾任台湾交通大学生物科技学系终身教授、特聘教授、讲座教授、系主任、副院长、新竹交通大学生物科技学系系主任及台湾生物资讯与系统生物学会理事长。现任香港中文大学(深圳)生命与健康科学学院校长讲座教授和瓦谢尔计算生物研究院执行院长。

Prof. Huang has been serving as Assistant Dean of Education at LHS since January 15, 2019. In this position, he has been primarily responsible for educational program design and execution, recruitment of undergraduate students, student affairs and planning for continued education. He has shown excellent leadership and capabilities in directing these programs at LHS and been deeply loved by students with professionalism.

黄教授自2019年1月15日起担任生命与健康科学学院主管教育助理院长，主要负责教学、招生、学生事务及继续教育。任职期间，黄教授认真敬业，深受学生喜爱，展现了其卓越的领导力与管理能力。

With a rapid increase in student numbers and expansion of LHS, additional responsibilities will be given to Prof. HUANG Hsien-Da who is appointed as Associate Dean in education for School of Life and Health Sciences with approval from the University Executive Board.  

随着学院规模扩大与学生人数增加，经校务会批准，即日起黄宪达教授升任生命与健康科学学院副院长（教学）一职，将肩负更多的责任与担当。
